Movement In Music Ensemble is a new, innovative orchestra based in Maryland which brings music performances to life. MIME hopes to bring in new audiences and create inspiring performances that will captivate every listener.

Who We Are

THE WORLD'S FIRST MOVING ORCHESTRA

What started off as a school project has now become a professional moving orchestra. MIME creates a visual accompaniment to its playing that involves memorized, choreographed works. No chairs. No conductor. No music stands. Just the musicians and their instruments in movement.
